I honestly have no words for this lot. Humans must be the only species capable of destroying its own habitat.

And for what? Once all is dying and resources are depleted what are these senseless creatures going to do with their money?

And don’t they have children or grandchildren? Surely a normal parent wishes for a better life for their progeny, or at the very least, not to make their lives worse.

I think we can apply this concept to viruses!

Yes--why most viruses need to be so infectious, for survival! Killing your host is not a great idea, before finding another host.

So the ego-driven tech bro billionaires ("broligarchs") as led by Musk, are looking to escape to Mars.

Having plundered the resources of one planet while making it uninhabitable, more planets are urgently needed.

This is a massive challenge for Burnham and I wish I had more confidence firstly that he’s committed to challenging the vested interests and secondly if he is then can he stand up to them? Only time will tell but so far we know very little about what he intends to do.

Bad Enoch will base her entire Energy Policy on the politics of Aberdeen South!

Enjoy your break Sam. 👌 🍹

I posted on Bluesky about this conference and the fact that many hard-right Tories aligned attended, including Badenoch. In addition to the hard-right and fascist politicians, the authors of Project 2025, the Heritage Foundation took a prominent role as did Marshall, Legatum and GBNews and the event was enthusiastically supported by a variety of US Christian Nationalists and Christian fundamentalist zealots like TurningPoint who wish to essentially remove all women's rights and turn women into housewives and breeding machines who can be objectified and abused at will by men. ARC really does want to see Gilead/Stepford made real.. Oh and failed PMs` Johnson and Lettuce are there too of course.

These bastards at ARC are serious - day one was given over to how to wreck today's society and political institutions including democracy itself in order that they can be rebuilt to hard-rightwing specifications which was covered on day 2

Those are indeed the ludicrous destructive proposals such conferences conveniently summarise for us. The challenge is not just what the new occupants of Downing Street do, but whether sufficient numbers of ordinary people are prepared to stand up against the proposals at every stage. Too many shy away from speaking up except against applications for planning permission by developers. They are likely to be the hard core of objectors against further destruction of the UK if they can be persuaded to turn out and support wider issues. The politics of rage has to be defeated and that takes courage in the face of constant condemnation or threats.

An ARC is what they’re going to need if all this climate change malarkey carries in like it is doing.

If you want to get an idea of just how stupid those people really are, try reading the book by Sarah Wynn-Williams ("Careless People: A story of where I used to work") about her time in the upper reaches of FaceAche.

I always knew they had to be really weird - but they are ridiculously vain & self-indulgent, too.

It's astounding, and Musk's risible efforts to silence her suggest it's pretty accurate.

Well, they should know about fossil fuel: they're all dinosaurs!

Do you think Burnham is any better than Starmer? After hearing he "couldn't possibly judge from this distance if there was Genocide in Gaza"- I think he's in the Zionist Camp as much as Starmer. I don't have great hopes of him stopping supplying Netanyahu with weapons.

I hope Burnham stops trading with Israel until they retreat back to their original borders.

Even Thatcher stopped some trade with Israel after the IDF bombed Beirut for the second time in 1982.

It’s like a competition to see who can ruin the planet quickest. I have this strange vision of them all sitting there arguing about what they can do to ruin everything faster than other people there.

This picture tells the story! Dark money ,oligarchy ruling the TRump aTory remnants and Reform Co owned by Russia. Barking on about if only everyone just accepted they were serfs with no rights . The Elite could carry on as a corporate kleptocracy scouring the public purse while they kill the planet. For all of us.

Gee thanks 😡
